Show entries will not be accepted after August 12th, 2024, 9 am central time. Additional show details are included on TOES list including judges, and entry fees .

SHOW CATALOGS: Unless you request and pay for a printed show catalog ($10), you will receive your show catalog no later than the Wednesday before the show by email as a PDF file. When you enter you need to indicate if you want a printed show catalog or if you are fine with the electronic version. The electronic catalog will be sent to the email address you have registered in TOES. We will NOT have extra hard copy catalogs for sale at the show.

SHOW HOURS: Check-in is Saturday 7:30-8:30 AM. Show hours for exhibitors are 9 AM – 4 PM (Saturday) & 9:30
AM – 4 (Sunday). 

Purina Specific Rules – No outside food allowed. Very nice Cafe open for breakfast and through lunch. No kittens/cats for sale, NO Exceptions. Kittens must be 4 months of age to be in show hall.

July 7, 2024, all guest with this group will be required to pay a deposit of one night room and tax that goes towards the balance of their stay; if you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival this deposit is non-refundable.

You must preregister with Purina Event Center.  There is a dog event same weekend, RV may fill fast.  There are also many pet friendly VBRO / Air B/B in the area.

THIS IS A BRING YOUR OWN BENCHING CAGE SHOW. There will be no benching cages available. You MUST plan ahead. Easy, affordable tents/cages are available at Walmart. (www.Walmart.com).This is a Non-Vetted show. All entries are to be free from contagious disease, and ALL Vaccinations must be up to date. Any entry
showing signs of contagious illness, parasites, fungus or cats from homes exhibiting any signs of infectious or contagious disease in the prior 21 days are ineligible for entry or competition. Cats which are pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. Cats may NOT be kept in the show hall overnight. All HHP’s eight (8) months of age or older MUST be altered. All claws must be clipped prior to judging.
SUPPLIES: Litter will be provided in show hall. Bring your own benching cage, cat food, litter pans, food/water bowls.
CLERKS: Please contact the entry clerk if you are available. Preference given to TICA licensed ring and master clerks. Do
not deduct your clerking fees from your entries.
SHOW RULES: This show is licensed and scored by TICA (The International Cat Association) and is subject to their show rules and breed standards. All exhibitors agree by entering to abide by the decisions of the show management and judges, A copy of all show rules is available from the TICA executive office, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, Texas 78551 or online at tica.org No kittens 4 months of age or younger will be permitted in the showhall (Purina rules). Proof of age and TICA litter registration must be available. Declawed cats are allowed for entry. No vending from your benching area will be allowed. TICA Show rules will be strictly enforced.
REGISTRATION: Registration: With the exception of cats competing in the Preliminary New Breed, Advanced New Breed, and New Traits classes, registration with TICA is not required to compete. However, to be scored for TICA titles and Regional/International awards, all cats except HHP kittens must be registered by their second show.
AWARDS: Awards will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules. This show is scored for TICA Regional and International awards.
LIABILITY: Practical Cats, its individual members, the show hotel, Purina Farms Event Center, or TICA will not be held liable for any loss or accident to spectators, exhibitors, cats or personal property. Please see the show information on TOES for the Purina requirements, ie no outside food , kitten/cat sales and kitten ages.
